A popular food festivals include the P.E.I International Shellfish Festival, open every September, featuring oysters-sucking contests, cooking demonstrations and live music. Join every September for the Fall Flavour Festival celebration, highlighting the authentic tastes and traditions of the Prince Edward Island with a month of foodies events.
P.E.I. is also home to a handful of vineyards and spirits manufactured. The province's wineries produce a mix of traditional and fruits wines and most offer tours and tastings.
